We invite you to join us for our Yearly Sidecar Convention from 1 - 4 March 2012. The venue is St Augustines, 30kms outside Clocolan in the Eastern Free State located at the foothills of the Maluti Mountains; the backdrop is the picturesque tourist belt of Clarens, Rosendal, Ficksburg and Fouriesburg.

St Augustines can accommodate all the sidecars in one spot. Accommodation varies from luxury rooms with en-suite bathrooms to backpacking rooms to camping. Set against a beautiful mountain with surrounding farmland, the tranquillity of the country is sure to be memorable. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery with ancient oak trees and natural springs of this old monastery which is filled with rich history and sacred sites. Historical sites include: 

The event will coincide with the Maluti Bike Adventure and the Clocolan Farm Cultural Festival that offer attractions like traditional farm fare, tractors, live entertainment, a variety of workshops and a homemade arts & crafts market.

Arrive at your own leisure at St Augustines from 14h00 onwards where we will welcome you at the registration desk.
Braaipacks, bread, salad, pap & gravy will be provided for the evening. Included in registration fee.

Friday, 2 March 2012

Breakfast (included in registration fee) at St Augustines from where two mass rides will depart. One on tar and one for the more adventurous dirt road riders. More info on the routes will follow in due course.Lunch will be for your own account at a place of your own choice.
19h00 Dinner back at St Augustines. Included in registration fee.

Saturday, 3 March 2012:

09h00 Mass ride departs for show grounds in Clocolan. We have some activities planned in the arena to entertain the crowds.
Breakfast/Lunch at the Festival for your own account.
15h00 Fun & Games at St Augustines …. Come and see if you can win a prize.
19h30 Sit down buffet dinner and prizegiving. Included in registration fee.
